- Do I need to prime the boards first?
For best hold? Yes, but we do have some in house so if you would like to go forward with this option, this is a service we can offer, or you can DIY. Our UV printers handle the heavy lifting. A white primer will making your colors pop on the drabbest of brown boards, note that any colour under the ink will affect the shade of your final product. - Will the ink just soak in and disappear?
Not on our watch. Unlike traditional inks that sink into the fibers like a bad memory, UV ink is cured instantly by ultraviolet light. it sits right on the surface, crisp and vibrant, before it even has a chance to think about soaking in. - Is it going to peel off the second I touch it?
Only if you’re using a literal chainsaw. We use industrial-grade UV inks that create a tough-as-nails bond. It’s scratch-resistant, fade-resistant (within reason – don’t go throwing literal nails at is) but is generally much hardier than that “DIY” vinyl decal your cousin tried to help you with once. - Can you print all the way to the edge?
We love living on the edge. We can do full-bleed printing, meaning your design goes from corner to corner without those awkward “naked” borders. - What kind of finish can I expect?
Anything from a sophisticated matte that screams “I have an interior designer” to a high-gloss finish that’s shinier than a new dime. You tell us the vibe; we bring the shine. If you want the shined up finish it does require a top coat, just let us know and we can provide this additional service also! This is the beauty of our experienced team.
